The Finnish Academy of Science and Letters and the Embassy of Italy in Helsinki are organizing a joint seminar titled “The Brilliance of Science – the Role of Women in International Science”.
Confirmed speakers:
The keynote speaker is Dr. Fabiola Gianotti. In 2016, Gianotti will begin her work as the first female Director-General of CERN. Dr. Gianotti is especially known as the leader of the research group that discovered Higgs boson. Her keynote speech is titled “CERN: much more than fundamental research”.
